In response to number 5, yes, I was in the closet. I was raised in a very conservative Roman Catholic household. My parents outed me by reading my journal when I was 17. My mom told me I was an abomination in the eyes of the Lord and they kicked me out. My mom, who's an alcoholic in denial, even tried to run me over with her car. I stayed at a friend's for two weeks and then they let me back in, but our relationship took forever to get anywhere near stable again, and there are still things that need to be worked out.
The first person I came out to was my best friend Dave. I was going over to his house for a sleep-over (we were 15 and he lived about 45 minutes away from my parents' house so it was easier to just stay over) and I wanted to tell him before I went over because I had been thinking about it and I didn't want him to be upset about it. So I said, "Before I come over, I want to tell you something, and if you don't want me to come over, just tell me." And he goes, "Okay." And I say, "I'm gay." And he goes, "Okay, are you still coming over?" So I went over, and I walk in and he's like "Alright, so you have to tell me the truth about something." And I'm like, "Okay." And he goes, "Am I hot?" I told him I didn't think of him that way, that he was like a brother to me, and he just said, "Okay, let's watch Aliens."
We're still best friends and he was my roommate in college and he's never even talked about any of my relationships as if they were any different from any of his. He rocks.
