It's a valid enough suggestion, but as long as I'm alone, I WILL find some way of talking myself out of it. I need a physical reminder to either uphold a diet, or just not eat that thing I want to eat. And a person would do that just fine, but I can't have a person with me 24/7, so... I can't think of anything else. Apps can be turned off (and will be, trust me), lists work only for a limited time in my experience, and I hate cooking with such an intense passion that the anxiety is kind of the least of my problems.
Only being able to eat what amounts to half a power bar pr meal sounds like heaven for the cooking-averse, heh.
