Fanpost of the day.

Today's ship is Niles/CC

Fandom: The Nanny.

Who?
- Chastity Claire Babcock. Clinically insane upper class spinster who carries the eternal torch for her boss and gets the most pleasure in her life out of abusing the lower class. Ie. Niles, the Butler.

Ok, this picture sucks, but it was the best one I could find of her capturing how stylish, yet snobby, yet beautiful she usually looks. (Mind you, this was the 80's-90's... and it shows...)

- Niles the Butler.
Snarky, sarcastic, cynical, yet romantic, British and anal retentive about his job. Not to mention nosy and proud of it. The best part of his day is when CC arrives and he can make fun of her. See a pattern already?

Perfect picture of him, actually.

Why?
- Because the snarking is absolutely epic and probably laid the foundation for my love of snarky pairings. Plus, there is the upper class/lower class love story, which I also love. And it's canon. Beautiful, I tell ya.

Why not?
- Well, some people have argued that their relationship must be unhealthy and abusive, but... face it, they can't be very healthy people as it is and at least their verbal abuse of each other make them happy. And apparently, their sex life is awesome.

Now this looks like a kinky moment. *phew*

But they're also totally cute sometimes. Aaaawwwww.

Fanworks teaser: Erm. Frankly, I haven't bothered much, because this show stopped when the internet was hardly born for regular people. I know there is some, but I mostly keep this pairing in the back of my mind as a fond reminder of when snark was fresh in my mind. But then again, it never gets old. *happy sigh* Did a quick search on deviantart and found this easily. I like it. Different style than I usually like, but lovely.
