Huzzah for technology!

Just talked to [livejournal.com profile] prelocandkanar  with Skype. Surreal! But awesome!! Real time fangirl squeeing! I'm in complete awe!

It occurred to me that, as a microphone/headset owner, I could use Skype. I haven't decided yet whether I will, but I went looking at their info.

Apparently, you can conference call with up to 24 other people. 25 Garak/Bashir fans in a conference call is quite a mental image!

Also, keep in mind that you don't *have* to have a webcam to use it. We did an audio-only call. The delay was very slight. It was much easier than I expected.
