DS9 Episode review: Change of Heart
Change of Heart. Season 6, episode 16.
Quark and Dax playing Tongo. I can't blame Worf for betting on his wife winning. I'd bet on her any day. Tongo is totally her game!
LOL betting about alcohol. That's so very chief O'Brien! And of course he wins. Never bet against an Irishman!
But awwww.... Worf is positivley adorable about it! Telling Dax he'd rather loose betting on her, than win betting on Quark any day!
I'm loving this little glimpse of Dax and Worf's daily life together. Awww. It makes me all smushy inside. (But DAMN I'm curious about what a naked Klingon would look like!)
And of course Worf has no trouble getting out of bed in the middle of the night for an urgent mission to the Badlands... poor Dax. Not so easy for her.
A Cardassian Starfleet operative! Interesting...
Honeymoon plans! LOL! I just love Dax. "I don't want to bleed, sweat or suffer on my honeymoon!" "Then what do you want?!" "Roomservice!" *snortgiggle*
And hey! I know she's married to the guy, which gives her a legitimate reason to abuse him, but Worf DOES have a sense of humor! It's hard to find, but it's there!
"On the Enterprise I was considered to be quite amusing!"
"That must have been a dull ship..."
"That is a joke! I get it! It is not funny... but I get it!"
*giggle*
Ah, Bashir in a tux again. Love that...
But poor Julian. Miles doesn't want to play with him. He just wants to play Tongo to beat Quark's winning streak.
LOL! It's all about doing things for the right reasons!
"Do it for the latinum."
"Nice try."
"Do it for the satisfaction of the look on Quark's face when he's beaten at a game of tongo by a lowly hew-mon."
"Deal the cards."
Hehehehehehe!
Wow, Lasaran is a bit of a snappish Cardie. But I guess fearing for your life can make anyone snappish...
Trekking through a steaming jungle for days on end... that should make Worf happy.
Back at the Tongo table. Bashir against Quark... they really should have guessed that Quark is not so easily beaten.
Dirty tricks perhaps, but actually it's quite legal! Which seems a little unusual for Quark. But maybe there's a certain honor in Tongo.
Talking about how Dax is the perfect woman and they let her slip away to that oaf of a Klingon... Bashir is doomed. Total loss of focus. Quark wins.
Poor O'Brien. There goes his dream. Hee hee. (What?! The man is there to be tortured!)
Back in the jungle with the lovebirds.
Worf wanting to run naked with the wolves when he was a kid. Hmmm. I can't decide if the idea is more hot or disturbing...
Eeek! Dax is shot! But of course, she married a Klingon, so she's badass. Trekking on!
Bleeding not stopping. Now... that's not good. Pale Trill...
Having to leave Dax behind. Poor Worf. But it is his duty.
First time I watched the episode, that thumping sound puzzled me a lot. Not until the second time around did I realize it was the famous Klingon heart beating.
Back for his wife. Screw the operative. (awww...)
Of course Sisko has no choice but to punish Worf for not doing his duty. But good of him to tell Worf that he would have done the same.
Not one of my favorite episodes, but nice. Very nice.
