If I were to write True Blood, it would be Bill/Erik, set in the late 19th century.

Voyager was my first fandom. I was a Paris/Kim shipper. Never wrote in it. The characters are better than the show sometimes. Be warned. But Janeway is my ultimate Trek captain.

Stay with Supernatural this time. It's gets better and better.

I'm with you on Dr. Who. I just can't. Torchwood I like....thank you very much :-))))

1) Well, True Blood is good. Actually is REALLY good in its first two seasons. This one... well, what can I say? I really do not enjoy rape-porn :/
Moonlight is you average vampire show. I like Blood Ties a lot more. Sadly, both of them were canceled :(

2) Eastwick; if you saw the movie, you know what to expect. It was funny until they axed it ~le sigh~ I believe there is a thread, here
The 4400. Really good stuff. Worth your time
And, in this vein? You should check Eureka. Awesome show!
And Warehouse 13, too

3) Voyager... well, it's not my favorite. It has quite a lot of good things, but is not TNG or DS9. At all.
Babylon 5: YES!
Farescape: *points up*

4) House. I really enjoy this show. Really.
BBC Sherlock: waiting until next Saturday, to see all three in a mini-marathon

5) Supernatural. I loved that show, loved it with a passion. Now, I'm really wondering if I will watch Season 6 *sigh*
Heroes: never manage to catch my interest. And I am easy!
Smallville: Love it in its first 3 seasons, but I stop watching at Season 4. People say last season was good, though.

Aaaand... you need to check Dexter. It's dark, and funny, and smart and twisted and a damn good show!

I'll be back if I think of anything else :P

The 4400 is just short enough to get stuck into properly, and I heartily recommend it! If you want a *really* slashy epic, may I recommend Boston Legal? It's 100 episodes chronicling the epic (platonic) love story of Denny Crane and Alan Shore. And everything else in between swings between hilarious and tragic at a moment's notice.

I almost gave up on "True Blood" two shows into it because of the atrocious accents. Being from that region, I know what people from there are supposed to sound like, and none of them did to the point of being obnoxiously horrible. Also, the story in the first season is really slow to pick up and go anywhere. Now I'm not sorry I gritted my teeth and bore it. It has gotten more entertaining, but the accents are still nails on a chalkboard. I doubt this will be an issue for you. ;)

I never could make myself get into "Vampire, the Masquerade" even though it aired when I was LARPing the game. That should tell you something. I'm not familiar with the other show you mentioned, though.

"Star Trek: Voyager" was...ok...the first couple of seasons. As someone else put it to me recently, I stopped watching when they brought Barbie of Borg on board. The stories were never that strong to begin with, most of the characters only so-so, and after Barbie, it went downhill fast.

"Babylon 5" is the best sci-fi show I have EVER seen. EVER. EVER!!!! The first season is a little slow as with most shows, but if you stick with it through that, you won't be sorry. The story is gripping and sophisticated, and there's way more going on even in that first season than you realize until later.

"Farscape" is wonderful. I can't say enough good things about it.

"Supernatural" I think would be worth coming back to. "Heroes" and "Smallville" not so much. I like "Smallville" but I feel like it pretty much lost steam around season 4/season 5.

1. Eh...I could take or leave vampires.

2. If you don't mind cartoons, Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's definitely a more intelligent cartoon.

3. Voyager isn't bad. And I like Farscape. I highly recommend Stargate Sg-1. Just don't watch the original version of the first ep, watch the directors cut instead.

4. I was a big House fan for a while (even had some fics going, all of which are incomplete, though my muse twitched on one recently). So I may be able to rec you some good fics from this.

5. I gave up on Smallville too, and never started the others.

Oh, ETA! You should give The Big Bang Theory a go. It's all about geeks doing geeky things, and starting in the third season Wil Wheaton guest stars as an evil jerk.

True Blood - I don't get the hype. I tried to watch the pilot but ... it's just not my thing, I guess ...

Star Trek: Voyager - Watch it! I've hated it for so many years but, boy, was I wrong! Janeway is awesome and wait till Seven of Nine joins the crew *sigh* The chemistry between them is amazing!

Supernatural - Don't get that one either. Worse, I couldn't watch an episode without thinking about all the dirty fanfics I've read ;-) I't probably the only fandom I read without ever having watched an entire episode

You lost interest in Smallville? Be very glad! Just stay with season one and read old fanfic. *nods*

Definitely, definitely watch Voyager! Janeway is fantastic. And the Doctor and Seven and .... really hope you like it!
Two other suggestions:
Have you ever watched "Queer as Folk"? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queer_as_Folk_%28UK_TV_series%29
And I have no idea if it is your sort of thing but if you like comics you should try the hilariously funny "From Eroica with Love," about a gay thief who falls in love with a NATO agent. And even though their relationship is never consumated (apart from in fandom of course)it is wonderfully sweet and there are some great stories. I really can't recomend this series enough. The first many volumes have been scanned in and translated by fans here: http://www.mangafox.com/manga/eroica_yori_ai_wo_komete/
Hope you enjoy your alone time :-)

I liked Voyager a lot more the second time I watched it through as opposed to when it was on originally. True, it's not DS9, but I think you'll like it. Although it's episodic -- no story arcs, really -- some of the characters do evolve a bit. So, give it a whirl... and let us know your reactions.

Not that you don't already have enough on your list, but what about Battlestar Gallactica? I saw that series (the modern version, not the original) just this past year, and really liked it. It was gritty and riveting and complex. Although I didn't fall for any of the characters, it was completely compelling. Well worth the time to watch it all, and you have to watch it all, in strict order. It's all one big on-going arc; no skipping allowed. (BTW, it's got James Callis, whom people insist on confusing with Siddig. Personally, aside from the accent and the vaguest resemblence, I don't see why. Callis does nothing for me, while Sid remains my heart-throb.)

Aw, you gave up on Dr. Who? Torchwood went in the shitter with the last season, but Dr. Who is good.

Not to fond of House anymore, though I do watch it. Also, Moonlight *FLAILS* ONLY VAMPIRE SHOW I LIKED AND THEY CANCELED IT AFTER ONE SEASON! Um, sorry, might still be a tad annoyed about that. Sherlock is awesome, and you already know how I feel about Supernatural *g*
