Gulp.

I'm so worried. Hubby took Pea to daycare today on his own again, so I'm home alone. I would be sleeping, but I just know I can't because I'm worried sick.

Today is the day Pea would be left alone there for a bit. Hubby texted me a while ago, saying that Pea was now in the hands of the daycare people for the next hour or so. I didn't ask how the goodbyes went, because I didn't want to come across as a total mother hen. I managed my worry fairly well... that is.. until...

10 mins ago, the daycare person Pea was assigned to called me and asked for hubby. I was really confused, because they did have his number, but apparently she couldn't find it. So she got his number and I hung up. And now I'm desperately worried. They wouldn't call him unless something wasn't going well, would they? Is Pea just upset about us not being there or has something happened to him?? *biting nails*

Fuck, I'm so scared. But I'm sure hubby will call me if it's serious. I know he will.

*fidget*

ETA: Hubby texted. It's ok. Pea was just upset. He managed 20 mins without being too sad, but then he really wanted daddy. Oh well. We'll keep working on it.

Fanfic quote of the day

Garak hesitated. He had never slept like this, naked, in the arms of
another being. It meant vulnerability and hence, danger. But, oh, how he
craved such a comfort! Closing his eyes with wonder, he reclined into
Julian's and night's embrace. In darkness his body slowly mended.

So did his mind.

Revenge is sweeeeeet.

I have lots more depressing shit to post, but damn, I've posted too much of that lately. So instead, here is my sweet revenge for hubby's blunder a minute ago.

He was reading over my shoulder as I was opening an LJ notification about a reply to one of my comments. He read it out loud and then mumbled: "You've got some weird friends, honey." After about 30 seconds of tense silence, I said: "Babe... I wrote that." He apologized, but I made it clear that for this blunder he would have to suffer me making it public on LJ. So there you are. Feel free to laugh at my hubby's expense.

Don't feel sorry for him, though. Last night we had absolutely mind-blowing sex. For the first time in ages. Man. I was shaking for hours after. I'm tempted to offer details, but recently I realized that my sister reads this journal occasionally. *waves* Hi, Sis! Better not break her brain, then...

However, if you ask in comments...
