Fandom, dammit!

I need to make a fandom post. All worry and no play makes me a saaaaaaad puppy.

So without further ado, here's the completely spoiler-ridden overview of what I'm somehow managing to keep up with TV-wise.

House 8x1: I wasn't sure I even wanted to keep watching, but damn, this season opener was gooooooood. I'm gonna keep watching.

Hawaii 5-0, season 2X1+2+3: Last season's cliffhanger was resolved nicely and I'm seriously biting my nails over Kono's development. Meanwhile, the new chick on the team gives me the impression that she was brought in to add to some sexual tension, but all the writers are doing with it is making sure that Danny and Steve are being even more adorably cute with each other than usual. Thank you, writers. Thank you.

Castle, season 4X1+2+3. I don't like what they're doing with Beckett right now. It's like she's almost gleeful now over knowing Castle's secret and given the fact that she lied to him and he doesn't know that she remembers everything, really makes her look like a bitch. I hope they fix that, pronto! Meanwhile, the plots are epic in their hilarity. So geeky topics for the murders and I am inhaling that shit like smurf-inducing helium, baby!

NCIS, Season 9X1+2+3. The season opener was frankly baffling. I must have watched it 5 times and I still don't get it. What was it about? Does anyone know? I get that it might be something for a later arc, but... HUH?! In other news, I'm really starting to ship Tony/Tim. But overall, this season is turning out to be something of a ship-fest for EVERYONE! My little multi-shipping heart rejoices.

Flashpoint, season 4X1+2+3. Still watching it. Still not loving it, but not hating it either. Except for the theme tune. I suspect that particular element will never grow on me.

Criminal Minds, season 7 episodes 1 and 2. OMFG! Not only was the first independent plot creepy as all hell, the emotional fallout from Prentiss coming back is HEARTBREAKING, BABY! And the fact that Hotch is becoming loose enough to joke with Rossi makes me so freakin' happy. If there's something this show does well, it's character development. I've never watched a show where I was truly upset if anyone left or got killed. Annoyed, yes, but short lived. If something happened to any of these people, I think I'd cry. A lot.

The Mentalist, season 4 episodes 1 and 2. Love it. Love, love, love it. Oh, and I now ship Jane/Cho. Goddammit. Like I need more ships. STOP BEING SO CUTE TOGETHER, GUYS!

Community, season 3, episodes 1+2. AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAAA!! That is all.

Supernatural, Season 7, episodes 1+2: I know Cas was going to bite the bullet somehow, but I sure as hell hope they plan to make more happen than one throaty line and a picked up trenchcoat. Even the magnificent Dean cannot button that shit up that well. I WANT SOME DECENT REACTIONS, PEOPLE! And it's not (only) because I ship Dean/Cas. Cas was a major player. That his goodbye is nothing more than a monster going: "I ate him. The end" is simply unacceptable.

Fringe, Season 4, episodes 1+2. I love this show, but I'm starting to think I'm too stupid to keep up. All the changes to the timelines are screwing with my head and I can't keep track anymore.

CSI Miami, season 10, episodes 1+2. The cliffhanger was great. I was truly worried that Horatio was going to die or at the very least suffer some horrendous consequences. But of course, he can't be weak, ever, so he did the whole superman thing and for once I was disappointed about it. This show is usually epic in its almost caricature-esque personalities, but Horatio's badass trick crossed the line into downright impossible. Plus, I never bought his whole "undying love in two episodes or less" for that chick he married, so his going to her on the brink of death? Nu-uh. Not buying it. The second episode brought back some nice lightness, but the continued badassery of Horatio without even a wink at the fact that he almost died grated on my nerves. *sigh* I used to love this show so much. :o(

Merlin season 4: Upon discovering that the first episode is a two-parter, I have decided to wait until next week to begin watching. I hope it's goooooood.
