*sigh*

*chanting: I-am-not-a-horrible-mother. I-am-not-a-horrible-mother. I-am-not-a-horrible-mother. I-am-not-a-horrible-mother. I-am-not-a-horrible-mother.*

Pea has chicken pox. He seems perfectly fine, apart from the spots and blisters. Only real problem is that he's not allowed in daycare until he's no longer contagious. Which could take anything from a few days to a week. I see a long, exhausting week ahead of me, with minimal sleep and considerable stress. I talked to my mother about it. She offered to have him over for a night and after some debate, it turned out that today was best for her schedule. So my sick baby boy is with grandma so I can sleep a little.

*keeps chanting: I-am-not-a-horrible-mother. I-am-not-a-horrible-mother. I-am-not-a-horrible-mother. I-am-not-a-horrible-mother. I-am-not-a-horrible-mother. I-am-not...*

Meh.

I can't seem to keep up with my f-list right now. So I'm sorry if I miss something vital in your lives.

In other news, I'm in the mood for schmoopy romance movies. Looking over my dvds, I don't really seem to have any. I have the corny ones like Dirty Dancing and Grease, the achingly sad Cyrano De Bergerac and then of course Stardust. But that one tends to be a bit more of a laugh. Maybe Pride and Prejudice. I do love that one.

Any recommendations? I need something that makes me go all gooey, just a little bit of angst and a super happy ending.
