Well, whaddya know...
Nov. 16th, 2010 01:57 pmAny doubts I might have had about sending Pea off to grandma's are pretty much dead now. Pea is having the time of his life and clearly not feeling sick at all. Grandma sends adorable pictures of my baby having a ball and grandma herself is pretty much ecstatic. Pea is not showing any signs at all that he wants to leave anytime soon, so grandma asked for one more night. Promising to drop him off if there is any change for the worse, my heart is calm in the knowledge that the arrangement makes everybody happy.
My baby might be sick, but the only signs of illness are a few spots and a runny nose. Grandma is an excellent caretaker and Pea loves her. And I just have to keep reminding myself that I'm not shipping him off because I'm lazy. I did take him for 2 weeks when B and I switched. Not lazy. Not bad mom. Everybody is happy. Everybody is happy. Happy. Happy. Happy. *squashing doubt-monster with foot*
UPDATE: At about 4PM, Pea decided that he'd like to go home. Right the fuck now. So grandma delivered him back home with haste, where he decided to spend the next 30 mins in my arms. Aaawwww. My baby missed me. :o)
