Just a little Trek rant.

Ok, I would post this on the Star Trek coms I'm following if I was really i the mood for flames right now. But I'm not, so I'll just throw this at my friends list instead.

Just because I don't feel like spending an insane amount of money to go to the theatre to see the new Trek movie, doesn't mean I hate it! It doesn't mean I'm not a trekkie! Not having spent the last 6 months flipping every penny so I could save up for the madly overpriced tickets does not mean I expect the movie to be horrible.

I find the trailers horrible, but as I have not SEEN the movie yet, I do not hate it! Jeez people.

The fact that I care enough that I want to see it, but don't care enough to want to see it NOW, but can wait for the DVD, seems to be a worse thing than either hating it or loving it from the first. This way, both sides of the issue hates me. Oh goodie.

Well screw you, I'll be too busy with the baby anyway to care about all the hubub until it's out on dvd anyway.
