I hate people...
Mar. 16th, 2010 05:03 pmNot all people... just... people... out there... in the world.
I think I've set some sort of record today of how many strangers just start talking to you for no reason at all. And people wonder why I don't like going out...
There was the lady with the lazy eye who kept asking me questions about Pea in a voice so low I wonder why she thought I would ever be able to hear her while on the bus.
Then there was the lady with the dog not on a leash, who told me I had a nice looking baby carriage and kept shouting after me how she had a grandkid in [city far from here], even though I thought I made it pretty clear I wasn't in any mood to talk.
Then there was the neighbour who passed me while I was wheeling Pea back and forth outside for his nap. She said: "You look like you're about to give up", probably referring to my tired face and the fact that Pea wasn't easy to calm down. I didn't quite know whether to laugh or cry at that. And of course, she then decided to talk to him. Yeah. That'll make it easier.
And finally there was another neighbour (or someone living close by) who decided to accost me at Pea's next nap. *sigh*
And don't get me started on the latest daycare crap. Let's just say... it's not my day.
