I HATE YOUUUUUUU!!!!

We came home from daycare. Pea was sleepy and very happy to be put in the carriage for a late nap. Those naps are always the best, where he doesn't struggle and just slides into sleep. He was almost asleep when mayhem started.
First, a young guy living a few doors down from us, decided that now would be a perfect time to show his mate how he had made his moped sound like a Harley with some gadget on the muffler. Right next to the baby carriage I was rocking. Pea shot awake and it took me a while to calm him down again. Still pretty relaxed, but that ended when another friend of the young guy arrived on his motorcycle and somehow made it sound like a shotgun being fired twice as he breaked.
Pea went berserk. He was terrified and it took ages to comfort him. When he finally calmed down enough for me to stop cuddling him and get back to rocking, it took half an hour(!) to get him to sleep, because every noise apparently startled him again. Usually he can sleep through road work, jack hammers, trucks and other noise, but not this time. Every time there was a chainsaw, moped, car door, lawn mower or anything else close by, he started over again. There is a LOT of noise around here. GARGH!
Needless to say that right now I really HATE moped and motorcycle drivers. What a bunch of fucking MORONS!!
