Jun. 16th, 2010 12:19 pmHubby once again left his wet towel on MY side of the bed. Enough is enough. Instead of hanging it to dry or throwing it in the hamper, I have this time thrown it onto HIS side of the bed. See how HE likes wet pillows! *mumble grumble*
Went to dentist today. It was cool. Despite not having been to the dentist for about 10 years, I only have one small cavity. Will have it fixed in a few weeks.
Once again, I was told by the dentist that I "take good care of my teeth". I lol'd inside my head. There's a reason I only have to buy toothpaste once a year...
Also, I had a bit of a giggle to myself, when the dentist asked her assistant for 'the probe'. I wasn't really aware that the 'pricky pointy thingy' was called a probe. Lots of fun in my head with aliens and a quote from Titan AE: "Hand me the probe." "Uh... probe? Where does the probe go? Actually, I'm feeling MUCH better now- OW!" *snicker*
Got my teeth cleaned (ow. Methinks I have a few exposed nerves) and polished. Wow. I feel like my teeth go 'PING' when I smile. Hehe.
While waiting for my appointment with the dentist, I took Sally for a spin. Damn, that keyboard is just WRONG! It doesn't type what it says on the keys! There must be a way of fixing it... or I'll go insane. Got some nice smut started, though. I hope I finish this one. Super-Dom-Merlin. Yom yom yom.
When I got home, I decided to not feel guilty for once. I bought myself some great stuff for lunch and indulged in a bit of fanfic while eating. Next on the menu is a nap. I'd really rather not, but I know I'm going to hate myself later if I don't get a little sleep now. Even when I get a full night's sleep, I still need a nap at midday to keep going. I guess it's because my brain always works overtime, but it annoys me, because I generally dislike sleep. Oh well. I'll go ponder my Merlin smut some more while winding down under the covers. -No, not THAT kind of winding down. Pervs. (Although... could be fun.)
