"Ahem. This is for the love of my life," he grinned, cocking his glance at Garak, "and in a sort
is also a tribute to my more foolish days when I suffered in silence."

These last few days... oy...

Bad news: IKEA is clearly one of the inner circles of Hell, cleverly disguised by all their environmentally friendly DIY-yet-totally-fashionable stuff. Ok, that wasn't news. The news is I fell in love with a desk from there and planned on going to get it and check out some other stuff. I did get the desk and some other stuff (Not the stuff I planned, fo course), but I also had a stress day of doom and I have most probably done something bad to both my back and one of my fingers in the process.

Good news: Floozie seems to have taken care of B's bloodflow problem and he was practically a human being again yesterday. Thank God. It was really getting aggravating. He gladly helped me haul the IKEA stuff up from the car and even volunteered to give Pea his evening bath, while I put the first purchase together. A step-stool for Pea. He's all about climbing up and down these days, so now we at least have something sturdy for him to climb on.

Other good news include me having the best son in the universe (ok, not news either) and sleeping great! I'm having brilliant dreams these days. All about meeting old friends, feeling at home, falling in love and not at all being down about it just being a dream when I wake up. Does wonders for your day waking up like that. Feel like taking on the whole world!

Still not much life from my muses, but I signed up for two ficathons. :oS Ambitious, but I'm going to need something to do this coming week without Pea.
