No spoiler warning, because there's not much plot to ruin. It's just fun fun FUN!
Why is it cool?
- Fast cars!
- Crashing cars!
- CB chats!
- CB handles!
- Fast cars!
- Trucks!
- FAST CARS!
Favorite characters:
- The Bandit. I mean, he's a professional show off!
- Snowman! How can you not love a guy with a handle like that!
- Buford T. Justice. The guy is a walking aneurism and dictionary of unconventional swear words!
Best moments:
- The entire movie! Except maybe the inevitable smooch scene. But it was short!
Me and the movie:
This is the first movie I ever remember watching in its entirety. We had a beta video machine and maybe 3 movies for it (the rest was taped from tv) and this was one of them. And I watched it. Over. And over. And over. And over. Since I was like 4 years old. So not only is it a generally enjoyable movie, it's my childhood on disc. The day I found it on dvd was a very happy day of my life indeed!

I cannot choose. This entire movie is so insanely quotable!
Why watch it?
They don't make movies like this anymore. Quite literally. They make so much fun of the law in this movie and that's just not done these days. Giving the police a bad image is bad form, apparently. Too bad. Because it's freakin hilarious!
If you like cars, speed, quirky lines and impossible traffic scenarios, this is the movie for you!
