Podfic filing and a few other things.
Nov. 20th, 2011 08:16 pmI just realized that my posting of podfics has been a bit of a mess. They could use some headers or something, so I think I'll do some re-posting of all my podfics with appropriate forms this time. Hopefully this will lessen confusion. I might even join a podfic community to get them out there more. With the amount of time and frustration it usually takes to make them, a little more pimping would be excellent.
I'm still pondering making a DW doctor_tailor community. Considering that my passion for Garak/Bashir certainly doesn't seem to lessen any, even in the face of many other shiny fandoms, I think I can safely bet that I wouldn't get bored with it or something anytime soon. I'll look into it in the next few days, probably. If not tonight. We'll see.
Today I finished reading Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. It was a great laugh, but honestly, for once I see the merit of spoiler warnings. So many of the best points were not half as funny because I'd already seen them quoted or depicted in fanart. Bummer. But it's a great book and I don't regret buying it instead of just borrowing it somewhere. But at least now I can safely read the bazillions of SPN/GO crossovers and actually know what's going on.
Speaking of which, I feel like the only person in the world who doesn't seem to be able to merge SPN-Crowley and GO-Crowley. They're two completely different entities, despite their similarities and I blame my shippy heart for this, but it feels kinda like infidelity for Aziraphale to hook up with SPN-Crowley in any form. I dunno. Maybe it's just the high of finishing a book that gets to me. It always does.
