I hate other people.

At least some of them. Especially people who can't be bothered to teach their kids basic manners.
Today I was called 'fattie' and 'hippo' by a kid no more than 8 years old, with no hint of remorse or even the smallest idea of it being offensive. I tried to laugh it off, but I still seethed all the way home.
Also, since Pea loves sandboxes so much, I bought him some simple sand-toys. A bucket with a few shovels and rakes in it. Nothing fancy or expensive. We've brought it to the nearest sandbox a few times and it's no more than a stone-toss away. So I thought it would be safe to leave the toys in the sandbox and come collect them the next time Pea was asleep. I expected them to be scattered somewhat, but I wouldn't mind that. What I do mind is having the whole lot stolen. Only the bucket remained and its handle was torn off. *grumble*
I'm starting to hate this neighbourhood.
