Life gets turned on its head when the little ones arrive. It's totally worth it though, and you'll get over the first years of constant frustration. Eventually you will be able to leave the room without the little one starting to cry :) It's true. Go for the easy solutions. Make it as comfortable as possible. It has nothing to do with control issues, thinking it's tough to reschedule your entire life. The stress and the worry thouhg, they'll stick where they are. My kids are 12 and 14. I'm still like; they've been gone for an hour and a half! Where are they? Something must have happened! Of course it hasn't but still...
