What if you were to introduce it in a very gradual way, like go on as normal five or six days a week and then try recipes from whichever kind of diet you chose on the remaining one or two days, would that also be scary for you? I thought perhaps it could help you get familiar with it without making it a one day to the other sort of thing. I have no experience with this sort of thing so I don't know if that suggestion is actually helpful at all. Or if it's merely "helpful." ;)
