After yet another night of beating off the sleepy gropings of a man whose body isn't accustomed to the whole "divorce situation" yet, we finally (or rather, I made us) split the bed today(it was two box beds in a larger bed frame). Thank god. I'll finally sleep tonight. *dies*

I even dug out my old duvet, my old bed linen and some older pillows. The allergy friendly ones we bought because of B have been pissing me off from day 1. I can't wait to burrow under the covers tonight, smelling my old bed, at least a little. I've had that duvet for 15 years and only put it aside when we bought the new ones last year. It's worn but familiar. Mmm. My duvet.

Oh, and Pea was all over the place, diving head first into the piles of duvets and pillows, jumping on the beds and generally having a blast. :oD I'm just so happy Pea is taking all the moving around and packing as calmly as he does. My sweet boy. :oD

I'd slap B if I were you. Granted, some men DO have the ability to separate sex and relationship and whatnot, but to want THIS from you now that he has that other chick, too is somewhat... strange. *raises eyebrow*

Splitting the bed = perfect decision.

I did slap him. He didn't even wake up. *mumble grumble*

Yay! That's an awesome idea. Being kept awake for any reason is never pleasant, but it's doubly obnoxious when it's touching you don't want, whether it's on purpose or not. I'm glad you'll be getting better sleep now.

I was seriously angry last night. Even though I kicked and slapped his hands away, he didn't even wake up! *gnargh*

I totally empathize. I am an absolute terror when I'm awakened when I don't want to be. My husband doesn't call me "Grizzly Bear" in the mornings for nothing!

*snicker* Aw, that's actually kinda cute. Scary, but cute. ;o)

Pea being upbeat about the situation is definitely a good sign, and I agree that splitting the bed is an excellent idea. Here's to better sleep for you! :)

Oh, that is a GREAT MOVE, to separate the beds! Nothing worse than sleeping in the same bed when the relationship is over. I did that for two weeks with Katrin, and it was HELL! *hugs you*

*nods* Let the separation begin.

YAY for you!! Way to go -- great way to address this problem.

It must feel great to snuggle back into your very own duvet! :D Time to re-claim what's yours and do things the way you want to! You go, girl!

[and smiles and tickles to Pea]

It worked a little TOO well. I spent most of my Monday in bed. I just couldn't seem to pull myself out!

Mmmm. My duvet. It's so deflated and worn, but I swear when I pulled it over me, it felt like a hug from a dear friend. :oD
