Feck, what a day.

Visited greatgreatgreat(or something) auntie today. She's 85 and generally super cool. :o) She spoiled Pea rotten and apparently it messed up his tummy, so when we got home he switched between being sugary-hyper and tummy-ache cranky. Which meant that one minute he was racing around the house making trouble, jumping on me and pulling my hair. (He got a really huge chunk. Ow. I cried.) The next he was crying and puking a bit and challenging me on everything and anything. Not to mention delivering the most toxic farts I've ever smelled. Oy. Took ages for him to fall asleep. Also, both me and Pea got stung by some bugs, so we're both itchy. Grah!

I killed my couch. Really. I did kinda crunch the armrest a while back, but it was a second hand couch, so I just assumed it was already weakened somehow. But clearly, the thing is made of cardboard and is totally not sturdy enough for my 150 kilos (330 pounds) of body mass. So it's broken. In half. That pisses me off.

So here I am. Tired and sore. And just as I try to sit down and relax, the usual Saturday party starts downstairs. Suddenly the gay couple doesn't seem so cute anymore. Usually I don't mind, but tonight it makes the floor jump under my feet and I'm too drained to bother going down there and complain. *sigh* I think I'm going to get an early night.

Only 2 more days until tli  gets here! WOOOO!!

It sounds like an early night is a good plan (says the girl who always aims to have an early night and then ends up reading fanfic to the early hours... )

Awh Honey, I think an early night would probably be best. And perhaps a bath?

And Yikes, that couch does sound weak, I've never heard of one breaking in half before. I once had a chair fall apart when I sat on it.... one of the screws was almost completely screwed out. Turns out my dad hadn't finished putting it together. It was a painful experience XD

That's actually a great suggestion, but I fear the water will amplify the beat of the music. Bah. But tomorrow when Pea is with his daddy, I can prune up in the tub for a few hours if I feel like it.

I've had furniture die on me before. One of the disadvantages of being a large lady. :oS I'm just SO not in the mood to go hauling more furniture around. *grr*

Why haven't they INVITED you to their party? ;) Nah, srsly. It would upset me as well if I had partying neighbors, no matter if they're straight or gay.
