Update o' doooooooom.

ladydraceFirst of all, I have the most wonderful son. Is it normal thinking every day that your kid is perfect? Who cares. He's amazing.

tli, I'm not gonna lie, it was draining, just like any other socializing is for me. It was a gamble having someone (especially someone I've never met) around for an entire week, not to mention the trips back and forth to and from the airport. I haven't done this amount of travelling and socializing in such a short time since... gosh, ages ago. I made it. And at least part of it is thanks to tli. She was completely cool about it when I needed a nap or pulled into myself, so I didn't angst half as much as I could have about the whole thing. I still need rest, though, so I folded and called in sick for job testing today.
The good news is that Pea also needs rest. Last week he got a middle ear infection and he's still on antibiotics. He's ok and had a great time at daycare today. He's pretty clingy and tired, though, but he falls asleep every night with no fuss and he seems happy. My wonderful boy. I think I'll still need most of next week to recouperate. *faints*
More good news! The last daytli was with me, we went by the place where the brats threw shit at me and called names. They didn't seem intimidated at all by the tall, glaring Brit next to me and promptly started bad mouthing and throwing half rotten apples after us. I started taking pictures of them with my phone and after a while they made their escape. So the first bit of good news is that now I got the little fuckers in my phone. Crappy pictures, but recognizable. The other good news is... I don't need the pictures! Because now I know who the little creeps are. They happened to have their toddler kid brother with them and it just so happens... he's in Pea's daycare. His name is Mustafa and his mother speaks fairly good Danish as far as I know. So now I have them. I have them. Mwahahahahahaaa. Revenge is sweeeet.
B is getting better and better about this whole week by week daddy thing. I can't find a single thing to put my finger on that would worry me. Amuse me, yes. Worry me, no. He handled Pea's illness confidently and sounded on top of things every time we talked. So I'm very optimistic about the whole thing. :o)
I'm sort of slowly moving to DW. I'll probably never cut LJ completely, since I have a few fandoms that will probably never move to DW. But since the crossposting is easy from DW, I'll start posting most of my stuff here.
I'm done watching Criminal Minds and I cannot WAIT for the next season to start.tli got me watching Castle which is entertaining but not a new fandom of mine. I have some vague plans of catching up on the series I'm already watching before starting in on the enormous stack of stuff tli brought me. Not sure how much I'll be getting done this week, having Pea and all. But I really hope I can get back to writing and having fun in fandom soon.

I'll probably never cut LJ completely, since I have a few fandoms that will probably never move to DW Yeah, same here. But I'm posting from here, and there is content that is posted only here. Is not as much for the comms. I have feed for most of them, and I read them here. It's because of friends, who wouldn't move from LJ.
But I'm seriously thinking about disable comments on LJ. I'm not sure, yet, and as I'm not posting a lot, it's not a big issue right now.
Oh, did you also fall for Criminal Minds? I really liked that show, but now, without JJ, and Elle only doing special appearances... TPTB sure are trying yo fuck up mu show. Argh! But at least we still have García and Reid, and they are my favorite characters, so...
