Bunny update

Just to torture myself a little and show my f-list that I really am buried in bunnies, I thought I'd post my bunny list. If any of these bunnies nibble on anyone else but me, feel free to take them home. The odds of me actually finishing all these within the next few years are slim.
Oh, and if anyone has a truckload of mental focus they don't need, please feel free to send it my way.

First, my list of all the G/B I've actually written anything of - anything from a page or two, to half a novel done. Meaning, bunnies that are being taken care of in some way. But my bunnies are little sluts, so feel free to take inspiration from any of these. (many of these titles will change btw)

Bashir Junior:
Progress: 11 pages in. Not even 1/10th done I fear.
Summary: More than twenty years after leaving DS9, Bashir's son suddenly arrives on Cardassia and Garak gets a second chance to win his doctor.

Busted:
Progress: Also 11 pages in. No way of knowing how long this one will end up being.
Summary: 5-10 years after the series, Garak is living on Cardassia with a girl he adopted. He and Bashir are having a secret affair and have to decide what to do when the risk of discovery is suddenly very real.

Prisoner:
Progress: 3 pages in and I suspect I'll hit 20 before it's done.
Summary: Garak has been caught by one of his former enemies and subjected to the exact things to break him. Isolation and enclosed space. Hallucinations of Doctor Bashir keeps him alive and relatively sane, but what will happen when he's suddenly saved and has to separate the real Bashir from his illusions?

Tell me you love me:
Progress: 5 pages done. Will probably at least triple in length.
Summary: Julian and Garak are finally together and Garak is overjoyed. However, Julian can't help but wonder if the cardassian truly loves him. Garak has to revise his way of thinking to avoid losing Julian.

Bachelor's wife:
Progress: 17 pages done. No idea how long this one will be but loooooong.
Summary: Garak is depressed, lonely and in the midst of his uncomfortable shedding season. As usual Bashir tries to help, but doesn't understand the significance of Garak's condition and his help is most unwelcome.

Garak Dances:
Progress: Only 2 pages, but wasn't planning on making this very long. Aiming for short and cute here.
Summary: Garak tries to teach the doctor cardassian dancing and Bashir is completely unprepared for his own reaction.

The smell of Julian:
Progress: 1 page, but much much much more to come.
Summary: Like all cardassians, Garak has a very keen sense of smell. But Julian's smell in particular means something important to him.

Christmas:
Progress: 3 pages. About half way, but probably won't finish this until next christmas.
Summary: Julian wants to avoid Chief O'Brien and his carolling plans, so he hides out in Garak's shop.

And the mundane drabble series keeps growing too.

G/B bunnies still infants:
-Dukat always wants what Garak has and when he finds out the tailor has a soft spot for Julian, of course he has to take him.
-Garak gets stuck with a bajoran infant for a day, and the residents of DS9 learn a few things about their tailor.
-Garak and Julian have a major argument about security on the station and are in danger of destroying their friendship completely, unless they reach some kind of understanding.
-Julian is stunned when Garak blows up in his face, upon discovering that the doctor performs abortions.
-Julian's friends have been trying to set him up for ages and he finally gets sick of it and tells them all exactly what he wants.
-It's always Garak wanting to cause Julian pain during sex, but what if Julian was sick of being the gentle doctor all day and needed something more in bed? (Far too little Julian-dom in my opinion)

And quite apart from this I have other fandom bunnies nibbling too!
X-men:
Through the fog: 53 pages (!!!)
God's Angel: 13 pages

On top of that:
A van helsing fanfic
An Odo-fic
2 more x-men bunnies

AND! Last, but not least, non-fandom-specific fics in progress:
Dragonfic: 17 pages
Historical lesbian love story around the time of the Mayflower: 2 pages
Non-descript love story: 11 pages
Sci-fi pirate story: 3 pages
AND 7 various erotic stories over several subjects from homo to het, kink to classic.
 

I think I need help...

That is a lot of bunnies! I'm in a similar situation with my WIP folder; I love setting up a story, but it's executing the concept and actually writing the damned things that bores me to tears. I don't think I have quite as many bunnies as you however, though it could be close!

Ohh, see, I had something similar to this festering for a while last year; Bashir finds a Cardassian child living in a Bajoran orphanage who's clearly been abused by both the other children and the adults running the orphanage, and decides to take the child back to DS9 with him, and promptly clashes with everyone on the station, but especially Garak. There's an entire storyline for it in my head, fairly precisely mapped out, I just know it'll probably never happen :/

Also, I love the idea of "Prisoner". Looking forward to reading that one once it's done ;D

I have a kind of similar problem. I don't mind writing and developing a story, but the bunny has the nibble pretty hard to gain my full attention. But once I'm inspired I can write for days on end. Otherwise I write a chapter here, a paragraph here or just fiddle with wording on a regular basis. *sigh*

Too bad your bunny is in a coma. It sounds really interesting!

Wow, those are some *great* bunnies! I only hope a few of them get born in the not-too-distant future. Of course, who am I to speak, I who haven't written anything for two months now...

Well, Busted is coming along nicely and bachelor's wife is also slowly taking shape. Other than that I'm mostly caught up in the mundane drabbles right now.
