I finally got my courage up enough to try out a few decent hijab intructions AND film the result! So behold! Me wearing my first hijab! (As in, the first type of headscarf meant for actually wearing, rather than just having fun in. I think I'll try wearing it for a few hours, just to get a feel for it. :o)

Yeah, I do love that color. :oD Now, if I could only afford some lenses, because the glasses ruin the effect.

I think it looks nice and solid, especially for a first attempt! The under-layer certainly adds some security!

I'm really impressed, especially since I was bold and started with a pretty slippery scarf. But with only 2 pins, it stayed on brilliantly!

Thanks! I do love that scarf. I've used it on a few occasions draped over my shoulders. :o)
