One more DS9 episode. The Ascent.

One more episode watched. The Ascent. Loved it!

The Jake and Nog thing was cute, sure. But their little thing was basically only filling between Odo and Quark's awesome adventure.

The Ascent:
Rom liking root beer. Of course. After all that 'breakfast of choice' sampling earlier, I have no doubt his view of alien foods is somewhat broadened.
Hehehe. The look on Odo's face as he comes to get Quark. Like christmas come early!
Odo reading romance stories. Awww. Research, my solid bum. He's just a softie at heart. Wanna hug him again. But I'd better not.
Oooh, better listen to the dude with the huge ears when he says he hears something odd.
Weird selective destruction from the crash. Hardly a scratch on either of them but lots of damage to the runabout. Oh well. Sets the scene for a great episode, so I'm willing to let that pass.
LOL for the moment Quark lifts Odo's nose with his finger to point to the mountain. I half expected Odo to kill him right there. Hehehe.
Oh my god. SO much awe for the 'exchange of opinions' while trekking up the mountain. Some really hard truths come out during that trip. To quote my hubby: "Wow, those guys really love each other". And I agree. They need each other on some level but not in the general sense. So much of both their lives are defined by each other. Even if they call it hate, they feel very strongly and I really think they would be lost without each other.
Quark saving their lives. I can see it already how much Odo is gonna hate that. And I simply cannot wait to see the effects of this. Hehehe.
