Made more motivational posters. Not quite sure they'll motivate anyone to anything else than reading more G/B slash though. But what's wrong with that anyway??

Today I posted on [livejournal.com profile] fanficrants  and apparently my post was nothing short of a mortal sin. We're now in the 80's in number of comments and only about 5 of them have been remotely kind. The rest seem to find it extremely offensive that something I don't know a lot about annoys me. Heck I even asked for advice if anyone knew better than me!

I want to leave, since it's seriously bringing me down that so many people deliberately twist my words and try to make me look bad. But I hate to just leave without defending myself. I'm being stupid aren't I? I bet I'm just feeding their flaming frenzy by replying at all. I should really just leave and leave them to think I'm a stupid bitch. They already seem to think that anyway.

I'm an idiot.

Edit: Ok, I left. I suddenly remembered that it's not just me being affected by this. By stressing out over this, I'm affecting the Green Pea! And I will not allow that to happen to preserve my pride or whatever!

Oh God, he was doomed. Tain would never take him back now because he truly wasn't worthy. He was nothing, certainly not the Cardassian he had been, and why? What had brought him to this
pass? The answer was both noble and pathetic, for he suddenly realized what had brought him so low -- his love for the beautiful young human brutally tied on his knees in the interrogation cell.

1. Do you remember your first ever thing you were fannish about as a wee one?
2. What fandom was your first (fan fic) reading fandom?
3. Are you very monofannish or a fickle fannish butterfly?
4. Did you ever feel really fannish and obsessed about a tv show/movie/book, etc. but without having the desire to write/read fan fic?
5. Did you ever have a fandom that was totally ruined for you by canon and/or fandom politics?
6. Where were you fannishly in 2003?
7. Where were you fannishly in 2005?

1. Tarzan! I had a huge cruch on Johnny Weissmüller. *sigh*
2. Oh boy. I don't really remember. MIght have been Pride and Prejudice.
3. I haven't really been über fannish about anything until recently, but I've been known to be rather fickle with things I enjoy. But so far I've been very devoted to Garak/Bashir. I don't think my love for them will ever really die.
4. Yeah. Harry Potter. I do love to see some wonderful artwork (even slashy stuff) but reading or writing it... nah.
5. Not totally ruined, no. I did get rather crushed when it finally dawned on my that there would be no Horatio/Yelina love story on CSI Miami.
6. I don't think I was really fannish about anything at that time. Unless you can call being obsessed with pet rats a fandom.
7. I think that was my Pride And Prejudice period. The mini series. I watched it every day for months and even read fanfics about it.
